Welcome to my website
Allow me to share a bit about myself so you can get to know the person behind the desserts. I’m a 30 year old Canadian country girl and I live with my amazing man and our fur babies.
I live a pretty simple life. When I’m not baking
I’m usually spending time with my family and friends. My family is really into big family meals and snack nights. Basically everything we do involves eating! I love how food brings everyone together and puts a smile on peoples faces. It’s what made me fall in love with decorating cakes, taking people’s visions and dreams and turning them into a beautiful dessert they can share with their loved ones. Hearing their feedback and knowing I’ve helped make their day means the world to me!
I’ve always loved art and grew up drawing and painting which is why stumbling upon baking after being diagnosed with some food sensitivities and realizing my passion for it was a total surprise! Getting to use my art skills to decorate cakes came pretty natural and was truly the icing on the cake 😉
Before I discovered the world of baking I worked as a teacher assistant at an Elementary school for 10 years. I guess I always knew I wanted to do something that helped others in some way. It was a very rewarding job and I loved making connections with the kids, even though I was there to help them I learnt so much from them. When I left my job to pursue baking I also opened an after school day care out of my home. I have an amazing group of kids and we do a lot of baking together. They love learning to decorate cookies and cupcakes! I truly am so blessed to be able to live my love pursuing my passions!
